When hiring a candidate who will be operating your company’s vehicles or frequently driving as part of their job description, a motor vehicle report can be a valuable tool before extending that job offer. Hiring an individual with a less than favorable driving history can be a detriment -- not only to the safety of others, but to your insurance rates!

Ascertain currently provides motor vehicle records in all 50 states in the U.S., as well as Canada, Puerto Rico and many countries worldwide. Our process ensures compliance with the Drivers Policy Protection Act of 1994 (DPPA).

Our motor vehicle report will advise you of the validity of your candidate’s driver’s license, the date of issue and expiration, and any infractions or suspensions within the last three years (a small number of states offer a seven-year history). Currently, the State of Washington restricts records to those drivers employed to drive on the state’s roadways; i.e., trucking companies, bus drivers, etc.
